@Chicken_Lover Yeah, the sad thing (for the russians) is that Russia is only supporting the wagner group with good equipment and supplies. a few weeks ago Wagner got 6 factory new armored vehicles and the good gear like real platecarrier and all that. And the normal russian servicemen getting only their airsoft/painball gear most of the mobilized soldiers who are in Ukraine right now needed to buy their own gear. Like clothes and their vest and helmet

I know that they're still managing to advance (even if its measured by the meter)
They do seem to have better discipline than mobilized troops so I guess they're concentrating their best assets on troops that they can rely on.

@Chicken_Lover Wagner wants to capture Bakhmut right now. Almost all Wagner troops are at the Bakhmut frontline. Wagner's fighting style is sad and barbaric, Wagner sends the newly mobilized soldiers to the front in human waves. You're basically sending the new untrained soldier to his death. Or they send them into fields they believe are mines etc. Wagner troops are mostly ex-cons and many of them aren't even well trained because they just got out of their prison this year

Russia is sending to many troops to their death just for an diversionary attack bakhmut is important for russia because taking Bakhmut would rupture Ukraine's supply lines and open a route for Russian forces to press on toward Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, and Ukrainian strongholds in Donetsk province
