Russian internet personality Hasbulla Magomedov is under fire after a video surfaced online showing him allegedly abusing his cat Barsik
The 20-year-old influencer has hugely popular online thanks to his connection to the UFC and he is regularly seen with big names including Dana White.
He also often shows his cat off in videos on platforms including YouTube.
However, a recent video is making waves with a short clip seeming to show Hasbulla tugging roughly at his cat’s ear. He also gives the cat’s head a smack.
The cat made a run for it and appeared to be unhappy with the treatment.
“Why is [Hasbulla] doing this to his cat?” one person posted alongside a video that has been viewed more than two million times on Twitter.
The video appears to be a screen recording of Hasbulla’s YouTube — however the clip in question has been removed from the channel, Dexerto reports.
One person wrote on Twitter, “This is offensive and needs taking down. Anyone defending it has different values to a real person. RSPCA needs a look. Weird.”
“He deserves a spartan kick for that! Poor cat looks terrified,” a person wrote in the comments.
