According to police information, the victim, Jeciane Maria da Silva, was located with several puncture wounds on her body, caused by a sharp object. At the scene, it was found that the woman, along with her partner, Carlos Bezerra de Souza, 40, the main suspect in the crime, had stopped by his brother's house and left the couple's daughter, later going to a spa known as “ Bica de Bira”, on a motorcycle, on Sunday (5th), no longer being seen.
The suspect's motorcycle was found abandoned, without fuel, near the scene of the crime. Military and Civil Police teams sought to locate and arrest the perpetrator, but without success.
A team from the Criminalistics Institute (IC) was on site to carry out the investigation and then the woman's body was sent to the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) in Recife.
