The Civil Police of Alagoas investigates a homicide that occurred in the early hours of Sunday (4), in the municipality of Anadia. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Lucas Gabriel dos Santos, was shot dead outside a bar, where an event was held at the time of the crime.

According to Deputy Antônio Lino, of the Crime Site Service Unit 3 (UALC 3), four hooded individuals participated in the criminal action. The suspects came forward as police officers, claiming they would conduct a search at the establishment. When they located the victim, they led her to the outside of the bar.

According to the deputy, Lucas Gabriel was hit by two shots to the head, three in the back and one in the abdominal region.

The first steps were carried out by the Civil Police, through UALC 3, with the support of the Institute of Criminalistics and the Military Police of Alagoas. During the initial work, security camera footage and witness testimony that was at the scene was collected.

The preliminary investigation points out that the homicide may be related to drug trafficking in the region, but it has not yet been possible to identify the perpetrators. The investigations are ongoing and will be conducted by the police station responsible for the crimes of homicide, based in the municipality of São Miguel dos Campos.
