Police and ambulances responded to the intersection of Supilova and Zagrebačka streets in Varaždin today, writes Varaždinske vijesti. According to unofficial information from the portal, one person allegedly fell from a window on the first floor of the building.

The Varaždin Police Department confirmed to Telegram that they had received a report of an injured man, and that he had been transported to the Varaždin General Hospital. The investigation is ongoing.

A spokeswoman for the Varaždin Police Department told the Varaždinski.hr portal that only one person was involved in the incident. “It was not a fight, one person was involved in the incident,” she said.

“The ambulance is resuscitating a man in front of the window. Witnesses say they fought, and one threw the other out the window,” said one of the passers-by who was near the scene of the accident 24 hours later. However, the police spokeswoman later stated that there was no other person.
It is not clear if the man survived or succumbed to his injuries.
