On the morning of March 16, a serious shooting occurred in Tbong Khmum district, Tbong Khmum province, resulting in three deaths. Local police are currently investigating.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred at a rice warehouse in Tbengkmun district. The deceased were identified as the warehouse owner, a woman, and the perpetrator.

At the time of the incident, the assailant shot and killed the two victims instantly. He then committed suicide at the scene. Upon receiving the report, local police quickly arrived at the scene, cordoned it off, and cooperated with forensic and other technical departments to conduct an investigation.

Regarding the cause of the case, Tbong Khmum provincial police stated that the case is still under further investigation and no conclusion has been reached. However, based on on-site visits and preliminary investigations, police suspect that the case may involve a romantic dispute stemming from a love triangle.

Officials from relevant departments stated that the remains of the three deceased have been handled according to procedures, and the police are making every effort to collect evidence to reconstruct the details of the case.
