On April 14, 2026, a shooting occurred at a vocational high school in Siverek, Sanliurfa province, Turkey. 16 people were injured, and the attacker committed suicide. A motive has currently not been found, but reports suggest the suspect was 18 year old former Student Ömer Ket. A social media profile for Ket reveals he posted a photo of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the perpetrators of the 1999 Columbine High School.
